Camelback Mountain is just one of several well-known natural landscapes in Arizona. Other stunning destinations include the Grand Canyon, Lake Powell, Monument Valley, Sedona in Northern Arizona, Tombstone and the Old West Territory in southern Arizona.


For city-goers, there are a variety of activities in and around Paradise Valley to enjoy. High-end shoppers may wish to visit one of several major retail centers in Scottsdale, including the Borgata, Fashion Square, Old Town Scottsdale, the Fifth Avenue Shops or the Biltmore Fashion Park. Art enthusiasts will want to check out live theater performances at the Herberger Theater and the art collections at the Heard Museum and the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art. Rawhide Wild West Town, also in Scottsdale, provides a little history and a lot of fun as Arizona's largest Wild West attraction.


Sports fans can watch the Phoenix Suns or the Arizona Diamondbacks play in Phoenix, and attend the horse races, greyhound races, Wild West shows and rodeos. Scottsdale is home to WestWorld, a public equestrian and special events facility. The largest Arabian horse show in the world is held annually at WestWorld, as is the largest Quarter Horse show. If that's not enough excitement, one can brush up on driving skills at the Bob Bondurant School of High Performance Driving in Phoenix.
